Doutonbori Pro-Wrestling (道頓堀プロレス) was formed in the summer of 2013. After Kuuga and a couple other former Osaka Pro-Wrestling talent left to form their own promotion based in Osaka, Japan. The promotion would be under the banner called the Dotonbori Entertainment System.
Kuuga and his crew would work on a set of shows in July under DES called the “Summer Crash” series.
The promotion would hold its first show on September 1, 2013 at the former Osaka Pro arena, the Minami Move on Arena, now being called the Dontonbori Arena.
