~ Big Japan held a show at the Nagoya Diamond Hall.
~ The main event saw Kankuro Hoshino, Ryuji Ito and Jaki Numazawa taking on Abdullah Kobayashi, Yuko Miyamoto and Isami Kodaka. Kobayashi would capture the win over Numazawa and would following that up by calling out Hoshino for the first title challenge.
~ It was also announced that the previously announced 6 man tag deathmatch on 8/6 will now be for the Yokohama 6 Man Tag belts.
~ Then the semi-final match saw Hideyoshi Kamitani, Yuji Okabayashi and Yasufumi Nakanoue taking on Daisuke Sekimoto, Daichi Hashimoto and Ryuichi Kawakami. Kawakami would capture his first win since returning from an injury as he would claim the win over the new World Strong Heavy Champion Kamitani. Kawakami called out for a shot at the belt.

~ KAIENTAI held a bigger show at the TKP Garden City in Chiba.
~ The main event saw Kaji Tomato defeat Tank Nagai to become the new CHAMPION OF STRONGEST-K after a 20+ minute match. Kaji has been receiving plenty of notable spots outside of the promotion in recent and today is an ultimate culmination of him proving his skills as he will now lead the promotion.
~ Taishi Takizawa and Kotaro Yoshino defeated the veteran Suzuki-gun team of TAKA Michinoku and Yoshinobu Kanemaru to retain the ST-K TAG belts.
~ Shiori Asahi defended the Independent World Junior belt against MEN’S Teioh and in the process became the UWA World Middleweight Champion as well.

~ Osaka Pro held a show today with a main event of Tadasuke defending the Osaka Championship against HUB. HUB being the former Osaka Pro native wrestler under the name of Super Dolphin, as he was the protege of Super Delfin. This would mark the first time for him to hold the belt since 2006.
~ Shiro-kuma also defeated Kuishinbo Kamen to become the new Osaka Owarai (Comedy) Champion.

~ The finals of the “Fire Festival 2016” took place today at the Korakuen Hall.
~ Shinjiro Otani and Yusaku Obata managed to move on to the final match as Obata claimed the much deserved upset to win the league. Obata declared that he will force a change in ZERO1.
~ Ultimo Dragon was announced to be involved in this years Tenkaichi Junior Tournament in September.
