Several updates were announced for the August tour of shows.
Yohei Nakajima was announced to miss the “Jr. TAG BATTLE OF GLORY” due to a personal boycott of the league, as well as citing differences with Black Tiger VII, as Black Menso~re was announced to be teaming with Black Tiger VII instead. The junior tag league will begin on August 3rd in Yokohama.
The World Tag and Asia Heavyweight belts were announced to be in defense on August 18th at the Korakuen Hall. With Suwama and Shuji Ishikawa defending the World Tag belts against the Kento Miyahara and Yoshitatsu. Then The Bodyguard will be making his first defense of the Asia Heavyweight belt against Naoya Nomura.
The tour will culminate on August 26th in Chiba with three major title matches. As Zeus makes his first defense of the Triple Crown belt against Shuji Ishikawa. With Zeus looking to prove himself as a defending champion and Ishikawa seeking to become a 5-crown champion, that is if he can first defend the tag belts on 8/18. Then Atsushi Aoki will once more put the World Junior belt on the line against Koji Iwamoto. This match stems from Aoki suffering a direct loss to Iwamoto in an 8 man tag match on July 29th in Osaka. Then Naoya Nomura and Yuma Aoyagi will defend their newly acquire Asia Tag belts against the “Axe Bombers” team of Takao Omori and Isami Kodaka.
