[RJPW News] Real Japan held a press conference today to announce some of the matches, namely the headlining matches, for the upcoming show on September 21st. Satoru Sayama/Tiger Mask announced the main being himself teaming with Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Naomichi Marufuji to take on the team of Tatsuhito Takaiwa and Big Japan Pro Wrestling’s Daisuke Sekimoto.
This marks the first time in 6 years that Marufuji competes for Real Japan, the last time being in March of 2006. Marufuji, as some of you may know, looks to Sayama as an in ring idol, among others, but Sayama set the bar for a lot of Junior wrestlers in Japan many years ago.
Sayama said that following the waging battle between him and Atsushi Onita on Real Japan ground, it is time for him to go back and begin the “reconstruction of Strong Style” which is the true basis/core for Real Japan.
This upcoming tag match will also mark the first time ever that Marufuji and Daisuke Sekimoto have ever faced each other in the ring.
This event is shaping up nicely from the matches that have been announced so far (see the card below). With an emphasis on the blending and facing off of many different styles, this event should appear to be one to see even if it was just the main event alone.

[All Japan News] AJP announced that they will be introducing a new title known as the GAORA TV Championship to be crowned within the 40th Anniversary tour in October.
All Japan announced that the title will be held right behind the Triple Crown Championship and will be defended primarily during GAORA television tapings.
All 8 competitors to be involved in the crowning of the first champion, they are as follows.
The 4 preliminary matches of the tournament will take place on September 8th at the Korakuen Hall with the Semi-Finals and Finals taking place on October 7th at the Korakuen Hall.
Of course a major storyline could play out with 3 outsiders involved in the tournament. Uchida has pushed for all the belts to be home for the 40th Anniversary and it might leave a sour taste for this belt to fall to the wrong hands.

[All Japan News] AJP announced the titles matches that will be headlining the shows in the month of September, among the announcement of the next Triple Crown Championship match after the conclusion of Sunday’s event.
Hiroshi Yamato will be
The World Tag belts will be defended as Takao Omori & Manabu Soya will be taking on Joe Doering and partner that has yet to be announced. Omori & Manabu have finally found their groove as a cohesive unit, but will the new mean streak of Joe’s prove to be more than WILD.
Then we have the mystery partner which at this time “I am thinking” that it could turn out to be, the recently returned to pro wrestling competition, Rene Dupree, who has been out for quite sometime due to injury.
Then the headlining match for the final event of the month on September 23rd will see the newly crowned Triple Crown Champion Masakatsu Funaki defending against the “Ace of All Japan” Suwama.
These two have face off a few times in the past, when Suwama was the reigning champion back in 2010, with Suwama proving to be the better man of the matches, but this time around Funaki has shown a new purpose and intensity. Funaki’s Hick Kick to Hybrid Blaster combination has proven to be his money maker as of late, and the new champion says that he will fight to keep the belt.
