JWP

Japan Women’s Pro Wrestling Project or better known as JWP for short was founded on January of 1992 and is the off shoot of the original JWP that was founded in the 80’s.

Championships

JWP Open Class Championship

Is the main title of the JWP Project and was made official on December 12th, 1992 with Dynamite Kansai being the original title holder.

JWP Tag Team Championship & Daily Women’s Tag Team Championship

The JWP Title was made official on August 9th, 1992 with Mayumi Ozaki & Cutie Suzuki being the firs title holders.
On October 12th, 2008 the JWP Tag and the Daily Women’s Tag Team Championship have since been contested together.

JWP Junior Championship & POP Championship

The JWP Junior was founded on June 16th, 1995.
The Princess of Pro-Wrestling title better known as POP was founded on June 24th, 2006 and on June 17th, 2007 the two titles are now contested together.
