~ Out came CIMA along with several of his wrestlers from OWE (Oriental Wrestling Entertainment), as they made their presence known in the W-1 ring. Joined by T-HAWK, El Lindaman, Takehiro Yamamura, Gao Jingjia & Zackery Wentz (Dezmond Xavier was also announced to join later), the group known as STRONG HEARTS, has declared an all-out war against WRESTLE-1. CIMA stated that he will bring much needed life to W-1. Which Vice-President Kondo took offense and Hayashi as well was not happy with the call-out against their promotion.
~ CIMA and Shuji Kondo had an initial stare-off, but then T-HAWK got into Kondo’s face to assert himself against the veteran.
~ Jun Tonsho, Hayashi’s current protege, even shoved CIMA to the mat. The OWE boys made a wall in front of Tonsho which lead to Hayashi pulling his boy back.
~ The group will begin compete in W-1 on the June 22nd show at the Shinkiba 1stRING, as President Hayashi stated that the event card will be changed soon.

(5) Jiro “Ikemen” Kuroshio & Masato Tanaka (ZERO1) vs. Shotaro Ashino & Kenichiro Arai
◆Winner: Kuroshio (16:54) with the Ikemen Flash on Ashino. (Ankle Lock counter)
~ Kuroshio with the direct win over the W-1 Tag Champion. As he called out for the tag belts to be in defense, for the previously announced match, on the 6/22 show at the Shinkiba 1stRING.

[W-1 News] Kaz Hayashi held a press conference at the W-1 office to officially announce the the construction of a belt has been set for the establishment of a “cruiser division”.

Following the singles match between Hayashi and Minoru Tanaka on 2/22, the groundwork has been set as Minoru finally agreed to the idea of W-1 having more focus on the “cruiser(weight)” talent. Along with them two, Hiroshi Yamato, Andy Wu, Seiki Yoshioka, Yusuke Kodama, and Rionne Fujiwara have expressed interest in building the foundation of the division. Masayuki Kono has also demanded that DESPERADO will be involved as well as he has appointed their newest member in El Hijo del Pantera to be their representative.

Hayashi completely believes that this is something that needs to happen in W-1 and he wants the belt to be introduced as soon as possible. He also noted the enthusiasm of the rest of the talent and he hopes the fans are also in support. As for himself to be champion, Hayashi brought up the fact that his partner Kondo, whom he currently hold the W-1 Tag belts with, has aspirations for the main W-1 Championship now. If Kondo is going for that than he aims for the Cruiser belt as well. “To see Team 246 in complete domination of W-1 would be something to behold.”

No official date has been announced for a tournament to crown the first ever champion but Hayashi stated that the upcoming shows on 3/7 & 3/8 will feature at least 3 matches billed as the “Road to Cruiser Division”.
