[ZERO1 News] Pro Wrestling ZERO1 held a press conference for the upcoming Tenkaichi Jr. tournament that begins on 9.6.
The reigning and defending Tenkaici Jr and Mutli-Crown Jr. Champion Jonathan Gresham kicked off the press conference and stated that he is looking forward to facing either Tigers Mask or Oyaji on 9.16.
~ Being the 2012 winner of the tournament he earns an automatic pass through the crystal wars portion of the tournament.
Ikuto Hidaka was up next and announced that because of YO-HEY’s recent injury during training that he would not be able to compete in the tournament. Hidaka then announced that he would be still be competing tomorrow though as he takes on his student Yuhi. Yuhi has been a pro wrestler for over a year now and this will be a fine time for Hidaka to see what she has learned first hand in a crowd setting. Hidaka looks forward to great showing in the opening round of the tournament.
Both Tigers Mask and Menso~re Oyaji are looking forward to ther match against one another, and both look to move to the second round.
Manabu Hara is grateful for his chance to compete in this years tournament, after defeating Craig Classic in a challenge match. Hara said that he has a tough challenge in Jackson in the first round, but Hara has an MMA background and will have to put that to the full test.
Hartley Jackson stated that he has lost 10kg of body weight to be able to compete in the tournament. He said that his style has been altered as well, but that his piledriver will always be his killing blow.
Mineo Fujita stated that he is aiming for the top. Then Jack Anthony was up and stated that he will easily go through Mineo.
El Hijo del Pantera had his chance to say something, but everything that came out was in Spanish and was not translated, though it seems Billyken could understand it and was yelling over Pantera.
Billyken Kid then went on a tangent and said that he will fight and win against this guy. Billyken was coming to ZERO1 to crush all the competitors. That no matter the intention of Pantera even being in Japan, that he will win.
Jason Lee, formerly Jason New, stood up and showed off his new nunchaku techniques and stated that he has been reborn, and that he only has one thing to do tomorrow, win.
Takuya Sugawara did not seem all that impressed with the new and improved Lee, and stated that he will be the won who will win this year.
HUB said that he is looking forward to competing in this years tournament once again, his 4th consecutive year now, and that he looks forward to facing Onryo and reclaiming a loss that he suffered by him previously.
Onryo, who was not with the rest of the competitors, appeared behind the banner in the back and starred down HUB.

NOSAWA Rongai then appeared to talk about the Current Blast Deathmatch that Atsushi Onita challenged him to compete in.
After some back and forth joking and such, NOSAWA stated that he would accept Onita’s offer for the match.
The match appears to be taking place on October 14th at the Echigo Big Fireworks (Echigo Dai Hanabi) at the Toki Messe (Niigata Convention Center).
