[AJPW News] All Japan Pro-Wrestling held a press conference today to announce upcoming matches for their shows in May.
First up, Kento Miyahara & Kotaro Suzuki have been named the contenders for the Asia Tag belts. The newly crowned champions in Shigehiro Irie & Keisuke Ishii, who won the belts on 4/29 against Akiyama & Kanemaru, has received multiple challenges by the All Japan front as the belts are now held by outsiders. All Japan Director Masanobu Fuchi took all the challengers into consideration and determined that Miyahara & Kotaro have yet to challenge for the belts and should provide an interest match-up.
The title match has been set for the May 16 show at Korakuen Hall.
Also announced for the show is Ultimo Dragon participating in a 3WAY match against his next two possible contenders for his World Junior belt.

SUSHI’s next defense of the GAORA TV belt has officially be determined as well as Kotaro Suzuki will be getting the match that he has been demanding as of late on May 17 in Yokohama. Kotaro had asserted himself fairly early on in April to be SUSHI’s next challenger, but his challenge was never met with a definitive answer. Though with the upcoming tour the time was right for a match to be set. Kotaro aims to test SUSHI’s goal of raising the value of the belt, as right now he does not appear to be doing the best job of that. Kotaro aims to breath new life into the belt, while SUSHI looks to protect his reign.

Suwama closed the press conference by stating that he is looking for anyone to challenge Doering and himself for the World Tag belts. Though he further elaborated that he will not be accepting Takao Omori’s challenge as he is already the next contender for the Triple Crown belt. Also given the fact that they already beat the team of Omori and Akiyama back in February of this year. Other than that, Suwama is looking for a “strong challengers”. The field is completely open for any team to come forward.
